A register of christenings at the Mission Chapel and at St. Luke's Chapel, 1884-1948, is listed with the records of the latter (Ref. EMS 147/1). Minutes of united meetings of Leaders of Hoylake and West Kirby Societies, 1887-1896, are listed with the records of West Kirby, Westbourne Road Chapel (Ref. EMS 146/1/1. The minutes of Hoylake St.Luke's Leaders' Meetings (Ref. EMS 147/2) relate also to the Mission Chapel.

Opened in 1884 by the Wesleyan Methodists in a former Congregational Chapel at Market Street. After 1898 it became a mission to Hoylake St. Luke's. Closed in 1963.
